Tryptophan Overload

Day 823 Tryptophan Overload

NaBloPoMo #21

Just dropping in a quick note to say we all survived Thanksgiving.

Turkey smoked successfully again, cheesy garlic mashed taters were stupendous, squash, fresh from the garden was really good, green bean casserole (of course) was mighty tasty, dressing was a big hit like always. Apple pie and pumpkin cheesecakes were also delicious.

Everybody pretty much behaved themselves, much football was watched (dull games this year). Helped Bob find the power supply & cables for his laptop for the third time this week. He keeps thinking I have them. Weird what Alzheimers does to a mind.

Tomorrow traditionally starts our Christmas decorating. Ought to go out and buy my hunting license, but somehow suffering through Black Friday crowds to get a license seems worse than putting up all the flippin lit ceramic village things in the kitchen. Thats pretty sad.

I am going to the gym Friday am though. Tried to limit my pie & cheesecake consumption today, but that stuff is evil and before you know it, youve eaten more than you intended. So its off to start sweating it out tomorrow. This process may take a few days and I still have that ridiculous hope of hitting 180 by Christmas. Crazy trying to lose that much this time of year. Ought to at least keep me from gaining, ya think?

Better get this in before midnight. Hope yall are enjoying the Tryptophan buzz.

Nighty night.

Weight start: 206.5 on 1/1/06 (265.0 on 1/15/05)
Current weight: 188 on 11/4/06 (Out of the rut, but in the wrong direction)
Next weigh in: 1/25/06 (if I dare)

New target Aim is 180, by Christmas. Better get it in gear.
