Day 1586
All is quiet on the eastern front. Had us a very nice Christmas Day. Ate too much (again), enjoyed the family. Today was a little different story. All those niggling little things still to do in the den were on the attack list for today.
Here’s a sneak peek at the den’s current status:

But when you look the other way . . .

Got a lot of stuff done today, but very little that would show up in either of those pictures. Oh well.
Right now, we’re just trying to make it to tomorrow night. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is in town and we’re taking the kids. Can not wait. Might even do dinner across the river from the concert site at a little place called “The Dinosaur”. Supposed to be up around 50 here tomorrow, so it’ll even be comfortable walking around downtown hopping from place to place. Going to be a good night, I can’t wait.
Doesn’t help that during the sabers game on TV they keep playing TSO tunes as their bumper music into and out of commercials. Just heard a piece of “Wizards in Winter”. Delicious. Remember the Bud Lite commercial that had the house with the Christmas lights synchronized to some rock sounding long-hair music? That’s TSO’s Wizards in Winter. Got the CD’s but it’s so much more impressive live.
I’m gonna go sleep until it’s time for the show.
