Day 660 Update from the Front

The front with the war on woodchucks that is.

Zach had an easy day at work. Got out early. While home having lunch, he spotted three (as in 3!!) woodchucks in the yard. We have freshly planted string beans growing in the garden. Little shits love bean plants. Zach went out, spooked the chucks and got them to run under the tool shed.

In that shed, I keep a conibear trap. Size 5 I think. Big enough to get a woodchuck, thats for sure. Keep it set, with the safetys on. All ya gotta do is set the trap in front of the only chuck hole under the shed and wait.

I was in the parking lot of a grocery store when I got the phone call relaying this news. Just got out of a dentists appointment, getting my teeth all nice & clean. Whats the first thing I have to do after the appointment? Eat lunch. Figures, right? Found me a nice seafood salad. Maybe 4 cups of lettuce, cabbage, carrots, grape tomatoes, some little teeny shrimp, some pseudo crab meat and Thousand Island dressing. Probably 300 calories of veggies & meat, swimming in 300 calories of dressing. At least it was light dressing.

Would dearly love to hit up aerobics class tonight. Only have 13,000 steps so far today, aerobics would push that to near 20K. Plus, Ive only made it to one evening class in the last 6 weeks or so (dating back to the meltdown)

OK its later now. Made it to aerobics. Saw some new faces, saw some of the regulars. Good class tonight. Even though its just a basic step class, you can get a pretty good workout by taking the higher energy options. Been doing that more & more. Pretty soon, itll be time to add a level to the step. That will really increase the intensity. Ought to do wonders for the old legs too.

Looks like the woodchucks won this battle. Little bastards re-opened an old hole under the back of the shed. Two of them are also so small that they can fit through the trap without tripping it. This is going to be a little more difficult than before. We must have already got all the dumb ones, now were up against the smarter, more paranoid survivors.

Completely different train of thought here. Why is it women like to talk (or bitch) about something, with no intention of doing anything to remedy the situation theyre talking (or bitching) about? Also, why do they do it 3 or 4 times over the course of a couple of days for the exact same subject? All that hot air moving around corrects nothing. I realize this is a fundamental difference between boys & girls (aside from the more obvious physical traits). The ladies will absolutely talk something to death, analyze every single facet of a subject by doing nothing more than talking about it. Guys would just as soon get up, club it over the head to shut it up and get on with life. Whhyyyyyyy?? Man, that drives me nutz.

Think Ill post this then head for bed. Might still hit up the gym in the morning, even after aerobics tonight. Cant sleep in, might as well go sweat.

Later folks. And answer me that question up there too.
